Job Title: Electrical Tester / Multitrade Operative

Location: London Borough of Islington

Contract Type: Temporary (11 October 2025 – 3 January 2026)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: £25 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Tester / Multiskilled Operative with an NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical testing to join our Homes & Neighbourhoods team. This role involves carrying out a variety of electrical and multi-trade tasks to support the maintenance and safety of properties within the London Borough of Islington.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and related duties as part of multi-trade maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to safety and quality workmanship across occupied and vacant properties.
• Coordinate with the Homes & Neighbourhoods team to support responsive maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Testing (essential).
• Experience as a multiskilled electrician/operator.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
