Job description

MPI have a requirement for an Electrical Maintenance Operative to work in a permanent role on site in Swindon, SN6 8LA.

This is a full time permanent role working 37 hours per week.

The rate of pay is available upon application and is dependent on experience

Our Client is contracted to provide Total Facilities Management to the Defence Academy of the UK (DA). This prestigious establishment is responsible for post-graduate education and most of the command, staff, leadership, Defence management, acquisition, and technology training for members of the UK Armed Forces and MOD Civil Servants. supports the DA as the MOD's primary link with UK universities and international military educational institutions.

Key Accountabilities:

Carry out electrical pre planned maintenance and reactive activities across a multi building site as required.

Carry out repairs to a variety of building services and demonstrate their competence to multi-skill outside their core trade.

Be involved with refurbishment, planned and reactive maintenance.

Work with minimal supervision and can make decisions on the most appropriate repair solution.

To undertake a continual programme of risk assessment in relation to your role.

Provide exceptional service to our high-profile client and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standard in delivering services in all building areas.
