Job summary

A well-established maintenance company is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Marston, Oxfordshire. The role includes carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on various electrical and mechanical systems in a commercial environment. Candidates must have relevant qualifications and experience, including a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Electrical Installation or Engineering. A full UK driving license is also required. Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Marston, Oxfordshire

Package: £42,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Call Out: 1 in 5 weeks Call Out

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team, covering a commercial site in Marston. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to be part of a dynamic and well-established company that values quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on electrical & basic mechanical systems.
• Perform maintenance checks and repairs on UPS, Circuit Breakers, fire alarms, emergency lighting, distribution boards and other building systems.
• Carry out checks to building/plant equipment and systems such as Generators, Splits, AHU/FCU's, Motors, Pumps etc.
• Diagnose and resolve M&E faults quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in a 1 in 7 call-out rota to provide emergency support.

Requirements

• Minimum of practical Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3/Degree in Electrical Installation or Engineering plus 18th Edition
• Proven experience in a similar M&E maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial building systems
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Full UK driving license.
