Your Role & Impact
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on all production machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Conduct routine inspections and servicing of plant machinery.
  • Work closely with the production team to minimize equipment downtime and improve productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and equipment efficiency.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
  • Work as part of a team and liaise with external contractors when necessary.
  • Work on automation systems including Siemens, Rockwell – Allen Bradley, GE, Mitsubishi, and Omron control systems.
  • Perform system backups, SCADA, HMI & PLC modifications and integration, and system upgrades.
  • Work on system controls and I / O’s across site instrumentation and fault finding.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot inverters and 3-phase motors.
  • Support the instrumentation of the tank farm.
Required skills and responsibilities
  • Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with PLC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is desirable.
  • A recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and respond to call-outs when required.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
