Overview

Are you patient, compassionate, and ready to make a meaningful difference in education? At Quokka Education, we're working with a welcoming secondary school in Gosport who are looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This is a part-time role supporting students with EHCPs in the school's provision. Whether you're experienced or new to education, if you bring empathy and reliability, we'll provide the support you need to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to students with EHCPs in line with their learning needs
  • Foster a calm, positive, and supportive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement strategies that build confidence and independence
  • Encourage students to stay on task, celebrate progress, and develop resilience
Qualifications / What we\'re looking for

  • Reliable and committed team players, ready to make a daily impact

£15 per hour (PAYE)

  • Hours: 8:30am - 12:15pm, Monday to Friday (except Thursdays)
