Early Learning and Childcare Support Worker - PKC13380

£12,623 - £12,942 (18 Hours per week, Whole Year working)

Inch View Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Learning and Childcare Support Worker to join the team at Inch View Early Learning Centre and Wrap Around Care. The role will primarily be working with nursery and school aged children aged 3-12 years.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a caring and committed team providing high-quality wrap around care for children after school and during holiday periods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the delivery of a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children aged 3-12 years.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive service.
  • Assist with planning, preparing, and delivering play-based experiences that support children's learning and development.
  • Supervise and engage children in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities that promote creativity, wellbeing and independence.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, between the hours of 2pm-6pm term time, holiday hours may vary.

Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with children ideally across Early Years and school aged-children
  • Is reliable, caring and committed to supporting children's well being. Can work flexibly as part of a team in a busy wrap around care environment.

No qualifications are necessary, however, experience working with children aged 3-12 is preferred.
