A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join the busy team. This is a dual role which requires the applicant to perform in either role when required in the Branch.

Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of warehouse or commercial vehicle parts.

Responsibilities
  • Driver – Pack and load products onto vans according to company specifications; deliver orders to customers on assigned routes; maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher; unload goods as per client specifications; review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs; obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
  • Warehouse Operative – Pick customer orders, load vans, and perform regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly; oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries; check and put away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock; assist with a rolling stock taking program to ensure stock is located correctly at all times; assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
