We are seeking a Senior Associate Director - Cable System Design to support a range of high-profile projects across our Power & Energy portfolio. This includes high voltage AIS and GIS Substations, transmission system assets, HVDC interconnectors, and energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Previous experience with consultancy, contractor or utility in the energy sector.
• Extensive experience in a cable related role supporting FEED design and/or detailed design.
• Able to manage and lead HV/EHV cable designs at all project stages.
• Experienced user of CYMCAP & COMSOL to support cable system design.
• Experience of working at EHV transmission voltages.
• Experience in the design of HV and EHV cable systems, for both HVAC and HVDC.
• Experience developing HV/EHV cabling system specifications, concept/detailed design, design review, estimation, site supervision and support as required.
• Provide technical support to the team on all aspects of HV cable system engineering and design.
• Prepare plant and equipment technical specifications, power cable route specifications, tender specifications, technical and progress reports.
