Qualifications

  • NMC registered Adult General Nurse/RGN or RMN or RNLD.
  • Previous experience in a deputy manager or senior clinical leadership role.
  • Confident in leading and developing a team of Nurses and Care Assistants.
  • Good knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with a sensitive and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Home Manager in daily management of the home.
  • Coordinate and manage the care and nursing staff.
  • Lead delivery of person-centred care for residents with dementia.
  • Complete clinical assessments and update care plans.
  • Administer and order medication.
  • Supervise and develop staff for effective performance management.
  • Support clinical audits and ensure compliance with standards.
