While others might call you delivery drivers, here at Ocado Logistics our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner. You’ll be on the road whatever the weather, but you’ll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like! We use our automated technology to pre plan your route and pre-load your van.

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays. On top of base pay you will receive premiums that increase your average hourly earnings to £13.75 per hour. You can also stack earnings further with enhanced overtime to fund those special occasions. All your breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid.

What we need from you

You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team; just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest.

Driving licence requirements

• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable)
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years

Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply. As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills are essential.

Contract details

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)

Contracted days: You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7; further information provided during pre-boarding

Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 and finish as late as 00:00. Please check your commute time and transport options prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay structure: The position is paid on a 4-week cycle with a monthly schedule.

Hourly pay rates (examples):

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate) - £13.28
• Evening Premium (from 6pm) - £1.12
• Sunday Day Premium - £1.33
• Sunday Evening Premium - £2.56
• Overtime (Mon-Sat Day) - £16.60
• Overtime (Mon-Sat Evening) - £18.00
