This is a full-time opportunity for a reliable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to support a busy logistics and warehouse operation, ensuring safe, timely deliveries and efficient warehouse support across the South-East and beyond.

SALARY: £27,000 to £29,000 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Crawley, West Sussex

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 7.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to join an established and growing distribution team based in Crawley. This role plays a key part in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

As a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for transporting products to customers across the South-East, London, and Midlands, as well as supporting daily warehouse operations. This is a customer-facing position requiring professionalism and reliability.

The Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and wider team, combining driving duties with hands‑on warehouse tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and works as part of a supportive team.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The company are wholesale distributors of garage doors, spares, automation and accessories. They deliver garage doors nationwide with free local delivery and provide a full garage door fitting service in the South‑East. They are based in the leading Manor Royal Business district offering excellent transport links to Gatwick Airport, M23 and the M25.

DUTIES
  • Vehicle Loading Checks: Ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly and safely before departure
  • Driving Deliveries: Delivering products to regular customers across the South-East, London, and Midlands
  • Manual Unloading: Safely unloading products at delivery locations, including self‑unloading where required
  • Warehouse Support: Assisting with loading vehicles for next day deliveries
  • General Warehouse Duties: Supporting goods in and out operations and stock handling
  • Vehicle Care: Cleaning, basic maintenance, and daily checks of delivery vehicles
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Driving Licence: A clean UK driving licence, with a maximum of three points acceptable
  • Driving Experience: Previous experience driving within the South-East
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication with customers and colleagues
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability: Trustworthy, punctual, and responsible approach to work
