Overview

Data Analyst - ServiceNow CMDB - Contract Position - No Sponsorship Available

Our client are seeking a delivery-focused Data Analyst to support a high-impact company separation initiative. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data within our client's ServiceNow platform, with a strong emphasis on the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, validate, and structure data from diverse sources including systems and spreadsheets.
• Map collected data into standardized templates, creating new formats where necessary to align with CMDB models.
• Conduct independent research to fill data gaps—particularly around equipment model information—to uphold data quality standards.
• Ensure CMDB data is accurately linked to other ServiceNow modules and organizational structures.
• Partner with the Service Management team to facilitate successful data uploads and ensure accessibility for ITSM processes and broader business needs.
• Provide ad hoc data analysis support to other workstreams as required.

Key Skills

• Proven experience in data analysis and modeling, especially within large datasets.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow and CMDB architecture.
• Hands-on experience with data migration and transformation processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, delivery-oriented environment.

Nice to haves

• Certification in ServiceNow or ITIL is a plus.
• Experience in enterprise transformation or separation programs is highly desirable.
