A local government organization in Blyth is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to deliver essential services to local residents. You will engage with customers, offering clear advice on various topics including housing and benefits. Working hours - 9:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 9:00-16:30 Friday

The Customer Experience team are the first point of contact for people who get in touch with the council. The team operates a telephone contact centre based in Morpeth and 6 information centres across the county in Berwick, Alnwick, Ashington, Blyth, Cramlington and Hexham. Our Customer Service Advisors work in a hybrid way, working from home and in the office and are part of a tight-knit team supported by our team leaders.

We provide advice across a wide range of areas including housing, benefits, council tax, blue badges, concessionary travel, household waste, highways, planning and much, much more!

Sociable working hours – shifts vary between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
