A well-established independent academy in Liverpool is seeking a qualified teacher to lead a new Curriculum Area combining English, Media, and Modern Foreign Languages. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership to enhance teaching standards and curriculum design, fostering innovation and inclusion in education. Belvedere Academy is looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to lead an exciting new Curriculum Area that brings together English, Media and Modern Foreign Languages.
As part of a small team of curriculum leaders, you will work closely with the Senior Vice Principal to help shape the strategic direction of the academy during a pivotal stage in its development. You will provide strong leadership and direction within this new curriculum area, ensuring that standards of teaching and learning are continually raised and that the curriculum is designed to be ambitious, stimulating and inspiring for all pupils.
In doing so, you will contribute to each subject’s Action Plan and the wider Academy Improvement Plan, playing a central role in our continued success.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional with a strong track record of teaching English, Media or Modern Foreign Languages to A Level. You will bring with you a passion for innovation and collaboration, as well as successful experience of leading curriculum or whole-school initiatives to improve teaching and learning.
