Job description

Are you passionate about shaping high-impact corporate storytelling across some of the UK's most visible channels? As our Senior Corporate Channels and Content Manager, you'll lead the charge in crafting and delivering standout content that elevates Virgin Media O2's corporate voice. This role sits at the heart of our Corporate Affairs function, ensuring our external and internal channels are filled with relevant, engaging and high-quality content that resonates with our key audiences. You'll oversee content planning, creation and publishing across our external corporate social platforms—particularly LinkedIn, Instagram and X—while also supporting internal channels when needed. From bringing our corporate campaigns to life to generating bold creative ideas, providing trusted counsel to senior stakeholders, shaping Executive social content, and delivering insight-driven recommendations, you'll play a central role in how we show up as a responsible and influential business.

We put our customers first, making life simpler, smoother, and more joyful. With big ambitions and a brilliant team, we’re building a more connected future for everyone.

We're a flexible-first organisation, because we know people do their best work when they have choice and clarity. To support meaningful collaboration, we ask everyone to spend at least eight days each month connecting in person, whether that’s team meetings, offsites, volunteering days, cross‑functional projects, or away days—anywhere meaningful collaboration happens.

Accessible, inclusive and equitable for all. Virgin Media O2 is an equal opportunities employer, and we’re working hard to remove bias and barriers for our people and candidates. We support and encourage you to be your authentic self throughout your application journey with us.

Requirements
  • 6+ years’ experience in a corporate social media or communications role
  • Strong knowledge of the social landscape, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram and X
  • Excellent written communication skills and confident stakeholder management
  • Experience with social publishing and reporting tools
  • Ability to capture filmed content and create still social assets
Additional Requirements
  • Experience working on Responsible Business campaigns
  • A proactive, ideas‑led approach to content creation
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing and approving content
  • Ability to influence and advise internal partners and senior leaders
  • Experience developing content for Executive social profiles

Our goal is to celebrate our people, their lives, and everything in‑between. We aim to create a culture that empowers everyone to bring the best versions of themselves to work each and every day. We believe the most inclusive and diverse culture makes for a better business and a brighter world.

Working at Virgin Media O2, you get a bumper reward package bursting with benefits, and loads of extras you can add if you’d like. These are designed to support both you and your loved ones, making sure that you’re covered no matter what life throws your way.
