Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conduct Risk specialist to join our Newcastle team. In this role, you will apply your experience and specialist knowledge to help clients meet their regulatory obligations around a variety of Conduct matters, such as suitability reviews, outcome testing, complaint handling, and regulatory mapping. You'll be part of a dynamic environment working alongside diverse teams to help EY drive positive change within our Consulting Service Delivery (CSD) team in Newcastle.

Responsibilities
  • Work with operational delivery teams to support clients on Conduct Risk or broader Consulting engagements, including suitability reviews, outcome testing, complaint handling and regulatory mapping.
  • Adhere to and manage productivity and quality expectations.
  • Support mobilisation and management of project teams, ensuring processes run smoothly and in line with EY project management standards.
  • Design robust technical delivery and control processes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues across EY, contributing to a collaborative culture.
  • Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist with bids, proposals and engagement management activities, including finance tracking and resource planning.
  • Supervise and provide professional developmental support, acting as a workplace coach for junior team members.
  • Contribute to training initiatives and foster an inclusive, high‑performing team environment.
Qualifications
  • Relevant regulatory experience related to financial services regulation compliance and/or enforcement, from a regulator, a financial services organisation or a dynamic new market entrant.
  • Ability to support EY’s connected working approach and present in the Newcastle office as required by business or client demands.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Familiarity with project management or supporting team initiatives.
  • Experience of coaching or mentoring junior team members.
