This is a full-time post (10 PAs), and the appointee will work closely to deliver clinical services with the 8 existing Pulmonary Hypertension consultants, nurse case managers and allied health professionals. The Trust is one of six nationally designated centres for the treatment of PH in England & Wales.
The current service provides specialist investigation and targeted therapy for a wide range of patients with pulmonary vascular disease. The referral base for the service is continuing to grow and the unit's clinical and academic profile in PH is well-recognised nationally and internationally.
The unit has been actively engaging with other institutions to develop a regional PH network. The basis of this network is shared care clinics and cross-centre multi-disciplinary meetings.
