In this role, you will spend two days per week teaching learners on campus and three days per week visiting apprentices in the workplace to assess their progress. You will deliver training and mentoring across a range of trades, ensuring learners are fully supported both in their technical skills and in their wider development.

The successful candidate will hold at least a Level 2 vocational qualification in a construction trade and have strong hands-on experience across multiple areas of building and maintenance. Previous teaching or assessing experience is not required, as full training will be provided.

This role would suit a versatile tradesperson who enjoys variety, is passionate about helping others succeed, and is looking for a secure and rewarding career move into education.

The Role
  • Full-time, permanent position based in Liverpool with travel across the North West (40-mile radius)
  • Split between classroom delivery (2 days/week) and workplace assessing (3 days/week)
