Overview

Conference and Events Coordinator - Hamilton Park Racecourse, Bothwell Road, Hamilton ML3 0DW. £26,000pa + excellent benefits. 40hrs pw Mon - Fri with occasional evenings & weekends.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and convert conference & events enquiries, delivering a seamless client journey from first contact through to event delivery
  • Exceed sales targets by tailoring creative solutions to meet client needs
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Champion the Sodexo Live! sales culture, using our CRM tools to manage data and maximise opportunities
  • Deliver professional, timely, and accurate proposals, quotes, contracts, and follow-ups
  • Support the Sales Manager and wider operational teams to ensure every event lives up to its promise
What You Bring
  • Proven track record in sales, ideally within hospitality, events, or venues
  • Strong knowledge of the local market and a client-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident telephone manner
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • A team player with energy, drive, and a passion for delivering results
