Job description

As a Composite Trimmer / fitter you will be responsible for the trimming fitting and bonding of carbon fibre components.

Main Duties

• Trimming composite material using specialised hand and power tools following dimensions and tolerances from an engineering drawing.
• Fitting of composite components for bonded assemblies.
• Bond and assemble composite components in accordance with company procedures and standards.
• Perform composite repairs such as filling voids or repairing damage using appropriate composite repair techniques.
• Perform self‑inspections of finished parts to guarantee conformance to stringent engineering drawings and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with other departments across the team to optimise workflow, meet production targets and continuously improve component quality.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment adhering to strict 5S and LEAN principles.
• Adhere to data capturing processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
