As our projects expand across Europe, the Middle East, and further afield, we are strengthening our internal systems with a new senior appointment to lead business support and compliance across our organisation.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and highly organised Business Support & Compliance Manager to take ownership of internal processes, ISO management systems, and HR coordination. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll ensure that our operations, documentation, and compliance frameworks meet the highest international standards and support the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and continually improve ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 systems (audits, evidence, non‑conformances, corrective actions).
  • Coordinate HR administration and procedures within the company, ensuring consistency, compliance and professionalism across all staff processes.
  • Chair disciplinary or investigatory hearings and act as appeal chair where appropriate.
  • Oversee document control, office systems and policy compliance across all departments.
  • Ensure company equipment, tools and plant are correctly certified and calibrated, maintaining full records of inspections and expiry dates.
  • Lead international compliance documentation for projects worldwide (A1 forms, posted‑worker notifications, visas, residence permits and insurances).
  • Liaise and coordinate closely with the Operations, Financial and IT Managers to ensure consistent processes, reporting standards and compliance alignment across all business functions.
  • Create, review and approve all RAMS, quotations and project reports to ensure compliance, accuracy and presentation meet ISO and contractual standards prior to issue.
  • Maintain consistent documentation and reporting practices across all projects, providing QC oversight on technical submissions and customer deliverables.
  • Supervise the Admin Manager and promote continuous improvement across all support functions.
About You
  • Proven background in a senior administrative, compliance or ISO management role within construction or industrial contracting.
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable leading meetings, disciplinaries and audits with authority and fairness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and structured document‑control platforms.
  • Familiarity with international compliance processes (A1s, visas, posted‑worker) desirable.
What We Offer
  • £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Key leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director.
  • Modern, expanding business with a strong technical reputation.
  • Primarily an office‑based role at our Staffordshire headquarters, with any remote working considered only at the Managing Director's discretion.
  • Genuine opportunity to shape the company's systems and compliance culture.
