Job description
Overview

As the Head of Market-UK, you will serve as Quince’s business owner and country leader, responsible for launching and scaling our presence in the UK and broader Europe as we expand our international footprint. This is a full-stack, high-impact leadership role spanning go-to-market strategy, team building, digital and physical operations, and full P&L ownership. You will be charged with creating a locally resonant customer experience while upholding Quince’s global brand promise: high quality, radically low prices, and responsible production.

Reporting to the Head of International, you will work cross-functionally across digital, supply chain, merchandising, marketing, and customer care, blending strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive customer growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the General Manager for UK with full ownership of market strategy, P&L, and end-to-end customer experience
  • Localize and execute Quince’s international market playbook, adapting it to meet regulatory, operational, and consumer needs
  • Build and manage a high-performing, cross-functional team across digital, marketing, logistics, merchandising, and CX—either directly or via dotted-line leadership
  • Lead customer acquisition and retention efforts, maintaining performance on key growth metrics such as LTV/CAC and payback
  • Develop and execute the country-specific business case, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Manage third-party partners and vendors across last-mile delivery, payments, returns, and other operational functions
  • Collaborate with HQ teams in product, engineering, and operations to localize the site, app, payments, and logistics experience
  • Drive merchandising and assortment decisions tailored to local preferences, seasonality, and sell-through performance
  • Act as the internal advocate for the UK and European customer, sharing insights to inform broader product and marketing strategies
  • Provide regular reporting and market readouts to international leadership
Basic Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in general management, ecommerce, strategy, or operations roles
  • Proven success launching or scaling a market or region from the ground up
  • Strong understanding of the local consumer landscape and ecommerce ecosystem
  • Experience leading and developing cross-functional and matrixed teams
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and comfort with budgeting and business case development
  • Familiarity with international ecommerce operations including logistics, fulfillment, payments, returns, and CX
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and retain top talent
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and execution skills
  • High bias for action and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience at a high-growth, digital-first, or consumer brand
  • Experience working across global teams or in multinational organizations
  • Direct experience with localization of ecommerce platforms and processes
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
