Commercial Finance Manager

Location - Hybrid

Hours - Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Provide clear interpretation and analysis of financial information and business KPIs to operational leads to drive revenues, improve efficiencies and identify opportunities.
  • Partner key stakeholders in detailed financial and performance analysis, assist in bid reviews and modelling exercises, and identify and drive working capital opportunities.
  • Manage balance sheet and cash flow reviews as an integral part of the role.
  • Monitor, interpret and challenge financial results and communicate issues, risks, opportunities and trends, including performance outlook, competitor activity and market trends to the management team in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the integrity and completeness of management information in the business’s financial systems.
  • Conduct critical reviews of contract performance, identify trends and opportunities, manage GP improvement plans, and support stakeholders with strategic and operational decisions.
  • Manage and monitor contract terms, conditions and obligations.
Ideal candidate
  • Professionally Qualified/Part-Qualified (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) or demonstrated relevant experience with a desire to progress.
  • Experience in reducing working capital in a similar business.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a commercial environment.
  • Commercial knowledge that adds value to the business.
  • Experience partnering with business managers to drive growth.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • UK valid driving license and access to your own vehicle.
