Overview

We'd like you to join us as a Clinical Care Manager - Registered Children’s Nurse/ Adult Nurse - within our Care in The Home service. We are looking for someone with experienced clinical skills, but also someone with great leadership skills who enjoys working in care and with complex care clients (children and young people). This is a qualified nurse role - (Registered Children’s Nurse/ Adult Nurse).

What you’ll be working
  • Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.30pm (This role will include a weekend & on call rota)
  • Home based - With travel across the designated region Devon & Cornwall

(Traveling expenses will be paid)

What you’ll be doing

The Clinical Care Manager will have responsibility of completing competency based training to the Support Workers supporting clients with complex needs, working in conjunction with other team members.

  • Delegation of approved clinical skills to Support Workers and Care Managers through training and assessment which will contribute to safe and effective service provision
  • Work with the Care Manager team within their designated region to ensure that delegation of skills requirements within the region are planned ahead
  • Evidence delegation of clinical skills to Support Workers / other team members in line with company policy
  • Conduct annual observations of Support Workers and Care Managers within the workplace
  • Clinical support for Tracheostomy, vents, Catheterization, epilepsy, blood glucose monitoring NIVS, nebulisers, peg
What you’ll have
