Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are recruiting a Classroom Teacher (Nursery) to join the Junior School on a temporary basis from 23 February 2026 to 26 June 2026 (subject to satisfactory pre‑employment checks). The role is full time, term time, with a salary of £34,853 to £50,477, based at Ravelston.
The purpose of the role is to provide a high standard of teaching and pastoral care for the pupils in the class.
The successful candidate must have experience working as a class teacher and registration with GTCS for Primary teaching.
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
