Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a fine dining/brasserie or luxury hotel kitchen.
  • Strong approach to detail, presentation and high culinary standards.
  • Ability to work confidently during service and manage a section in a busy kitchen.

  • Maintain quality, portion control, presentation, and ingredient provenance.
  • Work collaboratively with Head Chef and brigade to deliver service across lunch and dinner.

Location: Northeast (County Durham)

Salary: £33,000 + Service Charge (approx. £3k)

Role & Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and present dishes within your designated kitchen section to the highest standard.
  • Maintain quality, portion control, presentation, ingredient provenance and waste control.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering and ensure kitchen hygiene, safety and cleanliness.
  • Work collaboratively with Head Chef and brigade to deliver service across lunch and dinner.
  • Be flexible and hands‑on and maintain consistency and creativity under pressure.
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a fine dining/brasserie or luxury hotel kitchen.
  • Has a strong approach to detail, presentation and high culinary standards.
  • Can work confidently during service and manage a section in a busy kitchen.
  • Is organised, motivated, and keen to grow within a premium hospitality organisation.
