Responsibilities

• Select and measure appropriate wood; cut, shape, and drill to specifications using hand and power tools (saws, planes, chisels, etc.).
• Install and fit wooden flooring, ensuring accurate cutting, level alignment, and seamless joints.
• Assemble frames, shop fronts, counters, decking, furniture, small crafts, scale models, and templates using screws, nails, glue, dowels, or joinery techniques.
• Verify accuracy and alignment using squares, rulers, and spirit levels.
• Maintain, repair, and refinish existing woodwork and fixtures as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ hands‑on experience as a carpenter.
• Proficient in all aspects of carpentry, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components for frames, furniture, flooring, partitions, and fixtures.
• Experience working with various types of wood, sheet goods, adhesives, fasteners, and finishing materials.
• Keen eye for detail, precision, and clean craftsmanship.
