📍 Talacre, North Wales (Training in Kingston upon Thames, London area – Jan 2026)
💰 Negotiable Day Rate | Outside IR35
⏱️ Up to 5.5 days per week
⏰ 12+ month contract

Ceto Talent is supporting a key EPC contractor working on the ENI Liverpool Bay Project, covering both decommissioning and Carbon Capture and Storage. They're looking for an experienced Buyer to manage all purchasing activity on site, covering both goods and services across the project.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Handle purchase requisitions independently for all goods and services.
  • Review each request to confirm it aligns with project budgets and technical needs.
  • Build tender strategies and prepare clear documentation outlining the procurement process, timelines, and qualification requirements.
  • Work closely with bidders, vendors, inspectors and the Kingston office to keep communication aligned and consistent.
  • Support vendors as they prepare technical and commercial proposals while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Evaluate proposals, compare options and recommend the best approach to improve project outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Background as a Buyer or similar role within Oil & Gas or the wider energy sector.
  • Technical skills: Strong understanding of sourcing strategies for both goods and services.
  • IT skills: SAP and MS365.
