Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Building Surveyor located in the South East of England. Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Building Surveying or Construction.

You will be responsible for

• Conducting building dilapidation/defect diagnosis inspections, liaising with the maintenance team to address defects
• Carrying out building surveys and inspections to identify risks, plan works, and prepare specifications
• Quality and cost assurance of maintenance works
• Reviewing contractor estimates for value for money
• Supporting development of planned maintenance regimes
• Providing technical input on building fabric maintenance
• Collaborating with maintenance teams for compliance and solutions
• Leading maintenance projects to improve building maintenance and health & safety
• Ensuring statutory compliance (CDM, Work at Height, Asbestos)
• Contributing to design standards and survey processes
