The City Recruiter is hiring on behalf of our client, a professional services provider in the Construction, Real Estate, Land, and Infrastructure sectors. Our client is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team, primarily in an expert witness role, with additional responsibilities in party wall matters, valuation, pre-purchase surveys, heat loss and thermographic investigations, and design input for various projects.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Conducting a variety of surveys, inspections, and producing professional reports
  • Liaising with admin teams to organize appointments and report preparation
  • Responding to client queries and Part 35 Questions in a timely manner
  • Other building surveying tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

  • RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree (preferred)
  • AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS (MCIOB may be considered with suitable experience)
  • Experience in expert witness, party wall matters, or pre-purchase surveys (ideal but training can be provided for candidates with strong residential building pathology experience)
