Break press Setter / Operator

Permanent positions

Pay is £14/£15 p/hour

Monday to Thursday 7am till 4pm / Friday 7am till 12pm

Based in Tamworth

Working in manufacturing and production

Duties of a Break press Setter / Operator

• This role involves working as part of our production team to deliver high quality components, mainly for the rail industries, with a right first time philosophy

• Produce components from drawing / planning route cards to the highest quality, and within the routed time
• Show a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team
• Must be able to interpret technical drawings and use hand held inspection equipment such as height gauges and vernier calipers.

Experience required for a Break press Setter / Operator

• Must have previous experience working with Amada brake presses.
• Previous experience working as a break press setter operator
