Job description

Overview

We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers. The bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, utilise proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers at the bar area and asking what they need.
• Providing knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations.
• Fulfilling customer drink orders accurately and promptly.
• Keeping the bar stocked by replacing empty bottles and kegs of beer.
• Cleaning the bar, washing glasses and wiping down surfaces.
• Taking cash or card payments from customers.
• Verifying the age and checking the identification of potential customers.

What we offer

Full time position up to 42 hours a week. Start immediately. Up to £16 per hour based on experience plus incentives. If you speak Italian, it’s a plus. You need to have at least 1 year of experience in the position or similar.
