We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 8a Oncology & Haematology Clinical Pharmacist to join our client’s team in Norwich. This role is crucial in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in the treatment of oncology and haematology conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support the ongoing development of our clinical pharmacy services.

What will your responsibilities be:

The Oncology & Haematology Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for managing and optimising medication therapy for patients with cancer and blood disorders. This includes conducting medication reviews, providing expert advice on drug interactions and side effects, and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, participating in clinical audits, and contributing to research and education initiatives within the department.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in haematology/oncology
  • Registered as a Pharmacist with GPHC
  • BOPA accredited
  • Experience with Aria and JAC/CMM EPMA systems (advantageous but not essential)
  • Ability to work on site
