£24-27 per hour

Opening Paragraph:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehab Team in Swindon, part of the Integrated and Community Care (I&CC) division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a large, supportive team, providing essential rehabilitation services to adults in the community. If you have the required experience and a passion for community care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients in their homes, requiring the ability to travel within the community with a maximum travel time of around 20 minutes. You will manage a diverse caseload, excluding stroke patients, and provide personalized rehabilitation plans. Your role will involve picking up four new patients per week and scheduling follow-up appointments. While knowledge about falls is beneficial, we offer training to ensure you are well-prepared. You will work closely with a team of 60 staff members, ensuring comprehensive support and high-quality care for all patients.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Community rehabilitation experience or transferrable skills.
  • Knowledge about falls (training provided if necessary).
  • Ability to travel within the community.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and registration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
