Job description
Overview

Applicants must demonstrate they have the essential to role DN Specialist Practitioner Qualification. The post will require nursing interventions to be delivered to clients in their own homes. The post holder will be expected to work multi professionally, support other team member's roles and contribute to the future development of the service. As a deputy team manager you will support the team manager in operational aspects of managing a community nursing team whilst also being a senior specialist District Nurse providing care to our most complex and vulnerable patients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include providing high quality community nursing care, acting as a deputy team manager to support operational management, and supervising junior colleagues. You will be a senior nurse who can demonstrate good leadership, manage change in clinical practice and processes, and make sound clinical and leadership judgements. You will regularly supervise workload and contribute to service development.

Qualifications and Requirements

The role requires a DN Specialist Practitioner Qualification and ability to deliver care in clients\' homes. You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Consideration will be given to the trust\'s flexible working policy with regards to shifts. In addition, if you are an international recruit, the trust offers a different route and you will require an active NMC pin for this post.

All non-clinical roles (Agenda for Change Bands 7-9) that meet prescribed skill levels (RQF 6) and salary threshold will be eligible for sponsorship.
