Key Responsibilities for an Audit Associate

  • Support Managers/Associate Directors in delivering audits from planning to completion, ensuring audit standards and risks are met
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, managing queries and leading client meetings
  • Train, mentor and support junior team members, including feedback, 1:1s and appraisals
  • Commit to self-development by staying up to date with standards, regulations and best practices
  • Ensure quality assurance by delivering accurate information, maintaining controls and meeting regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing processes, adopting digital solutions and encouraging team feedback

Must haves for an Audit Associate

  • Strong audit experience across corporate, subsidiary, or charity audits
  • Knowledge of personal, corporate, capital gains and VAT taxation
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to clearly explain and interpret accounting and tax issues
