A vacancy at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust for an Associate Psychological Practitioner (APP) / Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) in specialist eating disorder services. The post is based at Harvey House, Lancaster, and covers Kendal and Barrow as bases for the Bay Eating Disorder Team. The team is part of the All Age Eating Disorder Service, covering Lancashire and South Cumbria, with links to other locality teams providing multi-disciplinary specialist care for people with eating disorders. The post holder will join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team including psychological therapists, systemic family therapists, specialist mental health nurses, a dietitian and medical professionals.
The service is focused on developing high quality NICE-compliant psychological therapies for people of all ages with eating disorders. The post holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from a psychologist or CBT therapist, and there is commitment to training and development in eating disorder-specific CBT models as required.
This post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance. Pre-employment checks require successful candidates to pay for their own DBS check at a cost of £50, with deductions taken from the first 3 months' salary.

The post-holder will work within all-age eating disorders services and with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Interpreters may be used where necessary, and the post-holder should be committed to equal opportunities.
The post-holder will work under the supervision of an experienced clinical psychologist/CBT therapist and will be required to develop and deliver CBT-informed interventions.
