The Assistant Technical Coordinator Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Technical Coordinator to join a growing, design-led residential developer based in Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their technical career within a supportive and high-performing technical team.

You will work closely with the Technical and Engineering Managers, assisting in the coordination of design information and ensuring smooth delivery from pre-construction through to completion. This role offers excellent scope for development and long-term progression within a company that prides itself on quality, attention to detail and delivering well-considered homes. You\'ll play a key role in ensuring technical design information is accurate, commercially viable and aligned with project requirements at every stage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating design information and supporting delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Collaborate with Technical and Engineering Managers to ensure accuracy and viability of technical design information.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in architecture, civil engineering, or a similar technical discipline
  • Background in residential housing projects
  • Understanding of regulatory approvals and section agreements (e.g. S38, S104)
  • Competent in reading technical drawings and coordinating design details
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD or Revit experience is beneficial
  • Positive, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or architecture preferred
