A charitable organisation in Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support the shop manager in operations. In this hands-on role, you will manage a team of volunteers and staff to achieve sales targets and ensure high merchandising standards. Ideal candidates will have strong organisational skills and effective communication abilities, along with experience in charity retail. Flexibility for evening and weekend work is essential.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • IT literate with excellent skills using Microsoft packages.
  • Excellent standards of record keeping, both written and computerised.
  • Ability to work flexible, frequently unsocial hours.
  • Previous charity retail experience is desirable.
  • Previous experience managing a team is desirable.

As Assistant Shop Manager, your role will be to support the shop manager in developing and managing one of our shops.
