A local government organization in Manchester is seeking an Assistant Reablement Team Leader to support a team in delivering effective community health services. The role involves overseeing daily operations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring a smooth running of services for vulnerable adults. Casual Car Documentation – The successful candidate will be a designated casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.
Medical Clearance – Pre-placement health assessment (PPHA).
Evidence of conduct in previous employment concerned with the provision of services relating to health or social care or children or vulnerable adults.
Proof of identity including a recent photograph.

Manchester Local Care Organisation (MLCO) has been established by the partner (Manchester City Council, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Greater Manchester Mental Health Service NHS Trust and Manchester Primary Care Partnership) to integrate, plan and manage community health and social care across the City.
By working better together, we are bringing community health and social care services together in our 12 neighbourhoods to form integrated Neighbourhoods Teams (INTs). Our INTs will drive our collaborative approach, developing partnerships and building on existing community assets to facilitate improved delivery specific to each neighbourhood.

Reablement is a community based team within Manchester, supporting our citizens to remain in their own homes and increase their independence. The role of Assistant Reablement Team Leader is to assist the Reablement Team Leader to deliver effective support to a team of staff, ensuring the smooth day-to‑day running of the service and effective use of resources to maximise service delivery and improve customer outcomes.
The role holder will support the Reablement Team Leader to undertake a range of relevant risk assessments prior to commencement of service to ensure the required provisions of care can be delivered safely for both the customer and staff, ensuring all medication risk assessments and environmental risk assessments are completed.

The role is based at Trafford House, Wythenshawe and is full time working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 18:00.
