ROLE OVERVIEW

To perform allocated tasks efficiently and to a high standard on the more complex areas of work. To assist the manager to ensure team delivers the required services within the deadlines. To work independently on tasks and be able to self-manage own workload and support the manager on managing the workload of the team.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To perform allocated tasks efficiently and to a high standard on the more complex areas of work. To assist the manager to ensure team delivers the required services within the deadlines. To work independently on tasks and be able to self-manage own workload and support the manager on managing the workload of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of accurate information in key systems, this could include bank statements, transactions, bookkeeping, the financials and pack or accounting records for a portfolio of clients.
  • Raise and resolve any queries on a timely basis and liaise with other team members or the client to ensure timely resolution of matters arising within the required deadlines.
  • Assisting other team members with their queries and provide guidance on when items need escalated.
  • Communication of any possible issues to manager on a real time basis.
  • Preparation of information for more complex clients, which may include portfolio information, bookkeeping, Trial Balances, or financial statements and/or liquidation account.
  • Review of information prepared by the team on simple entities/tasks to support the manager.
  • Actively participate in calls/meetings with the team/client to discuss matters Client arising and working closely with the manger on the tracking of work against deliverable schedule.
  • Provide support to junior team members and the team Manager.
  • Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, all operational guidelines/polices/procedures/controls.
  • Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
Qualifications / Essential Requirements
  • Very good attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good numeracy.
  • Good IT skills - working experience of excel is essential.
  • Preferable to be qualified, must be at least part-qualified with relevant experience (+5 years).
