The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in developing a team dedicated to delivering excellent guest experiences and profitable sales. They assist in developing Crew and Shift Leaders and fulfill responsibilities assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing employees, maintaining staffing levels aligned with projected sales.
- Communicate job expectations and ensure completion of training per company guidelines.
- Hold team members accountable, addressing concerns promptly.
- Create and maintain a guest-first culture.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines; comply with all laws.
- Ensure execution of Brand standards, recipes, and systems, including Red Book responsibilities.
- Assist in preparing and implementing action plans to meet production, productivity, quality, and guest service standards.
- Review guest feedback and assessment results, and implement improvements.
- Control costs to maximize profitability.
- Adhere to security and cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrate competency in weekly inventory processes and analysis.
- Write effective crew schedules and monitor labor performance daily.
- Implement new product roll-outs, including team training, marketing, and sampling.
- Drive sales goals and track results.

Crew Members Responsibilities:
Deliver great guest experiences by preparing products according to operational standards and serving in a clean, fast-paced environment. Work as part of a team to meet guest needs and encourage repeat visits.
Responsibilities include:
- Work well with others, respond positively to coaching, communicate effectively, and learn multiple tasks.
- Provide great guest service, resolve issues promptly, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, and maintain cleanliness.
- Handle POS transactions accurately, operate restaurant equipment, and lift at least 50 lbs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Fluent in English, basic computer skills, capable of making change, and able to operate equipment.
