Job description

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in developing a team dedicated to delivering excellent guest experiences and profitable sales. They assist in developing Crew and Shift Leaders and fulfill responsibilities assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
  1. Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing employees, maintaining staffing levels aligned with projected sales.
  2. Communicate job expectations and ensure completion of training per company guidelines.
  3. Hold team members accountable, addressing concerns promptly.
  4. Create and maintain a guest-first culture.
  5. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines; comply with all laws.
  6. Ensure execution of Brand standards, recipes, and systems, including Red Book responsibilities.
  7. Assist in preparing and implementing action plans to meet production, productivity, quality, and guest service standards.
  8. Review guest feedback and assessment results, and implement improvements.
  9. Control costs to maximize profitability.
  10. Adhere to security and cash handling procedures.
  11. Demonstrate competency in weekly inventory processes and analysis.
  12. Write effective crew schedules and monitor labor performance daily.
  13. Implement new product roll-outs, including team training, marketing, and sampling.
  14. Drive sales goals and track results.

Crew Members Responsibilities:

Deliver great guest experiences by preparing products according to operational standards and serving in a clean, fast-paced environment. Work as part of a team to meet guest needs and encourage repeat visits.

Responsibilities include:
  • Work well with others, respond positively to coaching, communicate effectively, and learn multiple tasks.
  • Provide great guest service, resolve issues promptly, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Handle POS transactions accurately, operate restaurant equipment, and lift at least 50 lbs.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluent in English, basic computer skills, capable of making change, and able to operate equipment.
Guest Focus:
  • Understand and exceed guest expectations, develop relationships, and resolve concerns following the L.A.S.T method.
Passion for Results and Problem Solving:
  • Set high standards, meet/exceed goals, and resolve issues using available information.
