Assistant Management Accountant - Interim (3-6 Months)

Location: Tewkesbury (3 days office / 2 days WFH)

Type: Interim Contract (3-6 Months)

Day Rate / Salary: Competitive (DOE)

Start: Immediate

We're currently seeking an immediately available Assistant Management Accountant to support our finance team through a busy period of reporting and operational delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-rounded interim role within a collaborative and supportive finance environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with month-end reporting and management accounts preparation
  • Reconcile balance sheet and control accounts
  • Manage and process purchase ledger invoices and payments
  • Support with journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries
  • Assist with ad hoc finance tasks and reporting
What We're Looking For
  • Immediate availability
  • Proven experience with purchase ledger and month-end duties
  • Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive, "hands-on" approach with the ability to hit the ground running
