A leading British university in the West of England is seeking a full-time Apprenticeships Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with education funding rules. Responsibilities include monitoring funding data, processing employer invoices, and providing guidance to stakeholders. Applicants should have a strong understanding of apprenticeship provision and be proficient in data handling. This role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for professional development.
UWE Bristol is an established provider in delivering Higher and Degree level apprenticeships. This is an exciting time to join UWE Bristol and support the ambitious growth of our apprenticeship provision as a leading provider regionally and nationally.
Sitting within the University’s Research and External Engagement department, the Centre for Apprenticeships supports the delivery and quality of apprenticeship programmes, ensuring compliance with external regulations, and providing employers, apprentices and stakeholders with excellent service.
You will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Apprenticeship provision, funding, and compliance, based on your professional experience. You will be confident in using Microsoft applications and other systems, and have solid experience of monitoring, processing, and manipulating data. You will also be enthusiastic to learn and develop as a key member of a specialist team, and to contribute to the learning and development of others.
The team works across a wide matrix of services and departments within the university as well as with external stakeholders, so effective communication and teamwork skills are vital for this role.
The university particularly welcomes applicants with up-to-date knowledge of learner management systems and/or apprenticeships financial processing.
This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.

Add your individuality to ours. UWE Bristol recognises the power of a truly diverse university community.
We particularly encourage applications from global majority candidates as we are currently under-represented in this area, however all appointments are made strictly on individual merit. As a Disability Confident employer we welcome applications from those who identify as having a disability.
