How You’ll Play Your Part

We’re looking for a highly organised, self‑motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and consistently puts customers at the centre of what they do.

In this role, you’ll serve as the single point of contact for Finance Operations and the wider business in matters relating to Accounts Payable, Fiori systems, and banking activities. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Agency Payments team, ensuring that manual customer payments are accurately identified, validated, and confirmed within agreed SLA timelines with a high degree of accuracy.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the go‑to contact for the wider business on all things Accounts including PR support, ad‑hoc projects and process improvements
  • Review bank suspense items to ensure accurate postings and timely resolution
  • Handle manual and digital payment requests, delivering an exceptional end‑to‑end service for our customers
  • Confirm customer payments accurately, on time, and in line with SLA and 4Eyes policy requirements
  • Respond promptly to customer and agent payment queries, escalating issues to the Team Leader when needed
  • Own the monthly purchase exception sample checks, ensuring full compliance with corporate policy
What You’ll Bring
  • A flexible approach to provide coverage during shifts and on‑call periods during weekend.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in everything you do
  • A strong customer‑first mindset
  • Proven experience collaborating within a large, fast‑paced organisation
  • A commitment to doing things right, applying rules fairly, and challenging non‑compliance when needed
  • Highly organised, self‑driven, and an excellent communicator
  • A problem‑solving mindset and the initiative to get things done
  • The ability to see the bigger picture and understand how your role impacts the wider business

At Mercedes-Benz, we operate with integrity and therefore you are required to maintain ethical standards in accordance with our polices and adhere to the Company’s Compliance Guidelines and Policies including Anti‑Bribery and all relevant competition law.

What’s In It For You

As well as the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with a great team and culture, we’ll offer you a competitive salary and discretionary bonus structure. We also hope you’ll love our products as much as we do, with access to our colleague car schemes. On top of that, you’ll be able to join our pension scheme and you’ll get a flexible benefit pot that can be used to find the benefits that are right for you. We are pleased to be able to offer a hybrid working approach – achieving a great balance between remote and office working.

We’re here to support you – we offer access to colleague wellbeing resources, including an Employee Assistance Programme and Mental health First Aiders, as well as flexible opportunities to support work life balance. We’ll also encourage your development, with the training and knowledge you need to reach your potential.
