Position: Operations Assistant & Lead Sports Coach

Super Soccer Stars is seeking a dedicated and professional Operations Assistant & Lead Sports Coach to join our esteemed organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operational functioning of our youth sports programs, while also leading sports coaching sessions for children aged 12 months to 12 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist overseeing day-to-day operations of sports classes, ensuring all programs run efficiently and effectively.
  • Act as an additional contact for parents and guardians regarding scheduling, class details, and program updates.
  • Conduct engaging sports sessions, providing instruction that fosters skill development and a love for physical activity among young participants.
  • Collaborate with the coaching staff to develop and implement the curriculum for classes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health guidelines during coaching sessions.
  • Help with administrative tasks related to class scheduling, communications, reports & marketing.

Compensation:

Compensation for the Operations Assistant & Lead Sports Coach position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualification.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sports coaching and/or teaching, ideally with a focus on working with children.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage operational tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including at least one weekend day per week (8am-1pm).
  • A background in youth sports programming is preferred.
  • Must possess enthusiasm for engaging with children and fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
  • Coaching qualifications, First Aid & CPR certifications are a plus, but not required upon starting the role.

SALARY:

  • Lead Coaches can earn hourly rates ranging from $30 to $45
  • Comprehensive paid training is provided
  • Uniform and equipment is provided
