Overview

Are you looking for an established company within the cooling and heating sector? We are supporting a largely respected Air Conditioning & Refrigeration business. They service, install and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration units across the UK. This Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for servicing company equipment across a variety of new and existing contracts.

Permanent • Competitive Salary • Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00 • Norwich

Responsibilities
  • Work in the field attending call outs to commercial, industrial, and occasional domestic clients.
  • Diagnose, fault find, and problem solve on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in commercial, industrial, and occasionally domestic sites.
  • Carry out regular maintenance of customer equipment as per maintenance agreements.
  • Liaise with branch on jobs, ordering of parts and diagnosis to ensure the best service is delivered.
  • Complete in a timely basis submittal of service sheets, timesheets and other documentation as required.
  • Ensure careful management of van stock levels in compliance with company policy.
  • Communicate accurately with clients, managers and other stakeholders as required regarding specific jobs.
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
  • Vocational qualification up to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • Experience as a maintenance/service engineer.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults on equipment such as split systems, VRV/VRF, Close Control, Chillers, Industrial refrigeration units, cold rooms, and AHUs.
  • Refrigerant handling C&G2079 or equivalent (F-Gas #removed#/#removed#).
  • Flexible attitude and able to adapt to changing demands.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
