Job summary

A leading global provider of real estate services is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team at Rolls-Royce in Bristol. The role involves designing, installing, and maintaining air conditioning systems, providing service maintenance works, and troubleshooting all A/C systems to ensure optimal efficiency and comfort for clients. Qualified candidates will possess relevant certifications, strong communication skills, and experience in mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have knowledge of building fabric and the ability to carry out basic fabric reactive repairs.
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations concerning maintenance activities.
• Must have a UK Driving License and good understanding of IT packages including Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

Air Conditioning Engineer

Based: On site at Rolls-Royce, Bristol Business Park BS16

Hours: 40hrs Monday to Friday (day shift)

What this job involves: As an Air Conditioning Engineer at JLL, you'll be part of a team that's shaping a brighter way for our clients and fellow employees. You'll apply your expertise to design, install, and maintain air conditioning systems onsite at our client Rolls-Royce. Role Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on Rolls-Royce sit in Bristol. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our client working on a varied selection of Air Conditioning systems.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Attend and complete PPMs & Reactive works as scheduled including breakdowns.
• Have install experience (retrofit/system replacements).
• Troubleshooting/ Fault finding on all A/C systems.
• To produce quotations for works /remedials following service visits.
• To work on Splits, VRFS, AHUs and DX systems and some Central Plant.
• To be able to work alone and with other team members when necessary.
• Complete all FGAS paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises.
• To be part of the Out of Hours Call Out Rota.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• C&G 2079 Cat1
• NVQ Level 3 or similar
• F-Gas
• Good Mechanical & Electrical Background
• Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities

• Must be prepared to work out of hours when required and on a scheduled callout rota
• Have good communication and organisation skills
• UK Driving License
• Good understanding of IT packages including Outlook, Word etc
