Agricultural Underwriter
Hybrid role

Barker Munro recruitment are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Agricultural Underwriter to join a friendly, supportive team. This position presents a unique opportunity for candidates with a solid background in agricultural / farming combined underwriting to contribute to this market-leading operations.

Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and evaluate opportunities for providing tailored insurance solutions to existing clients and brokers across the UK. Independently review and analyse underwriting submissions to ensure accuracy and adherence to relevant guidelines. Use your expertise to make informed decisions that benefit both the client and the organisation. You will operate within your delegated underwriting authority to effectively underwrite both new business and renewals, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements: Proven experience in agricultural / farming combined underwriting, (property, liability, business interruption). Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
You should be a proactive, self-starter with strong organisational skills to effectively manage your workload and meet deadlines.

This role required you to work half of your week in the office – they have multiple branches in the UK so there should be an office in a commuting distance from you.
