Overview

The Brent Children Clinical Services Unit has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic person with an eye for detail to support our Specialist Children Services. You will join the forward thinking and innovative Children Therapy Teams (Paediatric SLT, OT and Physiotherapy) and the Child Development Service, in Brent.

You will be joining a team that uses databases, Excel and clinical systems such as EMIS to input information, generate reports, and keep caseloads and waiting lists up to date. You will assist the teams by validating data sent by the CLCH Business Team and supporting data management across services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Brent Specialist Children Services, including Children’s Speech and Language Therapy, Children’s Physiotherapy, Children’s Occupational Therapy, and the Child Development Service (Community Paediatrics).
  • Book clinics, process new referrals, update waiting lists, and communicate appointment information to patients, parents, and carers.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations and support the therapy teams in timely booking and service targets.
  • Generate and share reports with relevant external partners and validate data as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proactive individual with a good understanding of databases, Excel, and clinical systems such as EMIS.
  • Experience in NHS administration is desirable.
  • Ability to support a wide range of clinical staff in managing waiting lists and appointments.
